一、working principle

Crystallization is the process of precipitating solids from a solution, and the supersaturation of the solution is the main driving force for industrial crystallization.

The continuous crystallizer achieves a continuous and stable crystallization process through a forced circulation system: the feed liquid is heated by steam in the heater and enters the evaporator separator under the action of the circulation pump. Due to the decrease in static pressure of the material, the liquid evaporates, producing secondary steam that overflows from the liquid. After being concentrated, the material forms a supersaturated state, which promotes crystal growth. The material that has been released from supersaturation enters the circulation pump again, repeating the cycle and continuously evaporating and crystallizing to achieve separation and purification between substances.

Continuous crystallization has advantages such as high efficiency, low energy consumption, and less mother liquor. A set of continuous crystallizers can be replaced by several sets or even dozens of intermittent crystallizers, greatly reducing the number of supporting equipment and significantly improving production efficiency.

It can be equipped with various high-efficiency crystallizers such as FC type, DTB type, OSLO type, etc., to meet the requirements of different crystal growth processes, with uniform product particle size and high purity.

3. High degree of automation

It can achieve automatic control of continuous feeding and discharging, with fewer operators and stable and reliable operation.

4. Compact equipment with small footprint

Compared to intermittent crystallizers, the equipment occupies a significantly reduced area. For GMP workshop applications such as pharmaceuticals, the crystallizer can be fully enclosed outside the workshop, with only the centrifuge, drying, and packaging placed inside the workshop, greatly reducing the GMP workshop area and lowering project investment.

5. Vacuum low-temperature evaporation

The entire process operates under vacuum conditions, with low evaporation temperature, fast speed, and low energy consumption. Even liquids with high viscosity are easy to flow and evaporate, making them less prone to scaling.
