一、 Working principle
MVR (Mechanical Vapor Re Compression) evaporator is an efficient and energy-saving evaporation and concentration equipment. The core principle is to adiabatically compress the secondary steam generated by the evaporation system through a steam mechanical compressor, increasing its pressure and saturation temperature. The heated steam is reintroduced into the evaporator heating chamber as a heat source to heat the material, causing it to continuously boil and evaporate. In this way, the latent heat of the secondary steam that originally needed to be condensed is fully utilized, achieving the recycling of thermal energy.
This process mainly consumes electrical energy (to drive the compressor), converting it into effective thermal energy, thereby significantly reducing or even completely replacing the demand for fresh steam, and has a significant energy-saving effect.
二、 Structural application
According to material characteristics and process requirements, MVR evaporators are mainly divided into the following forms:
1. MVR falling film evaporator
Characteristics: The material flows downward in a film like manner on the inner wall of the heating tube, with a high heat transfer coefficient, short residence time, and is friendly to heat sensitive materials.
Application: Widely used in industries such as food, fermentation, medicine, biotechnology, etc., for processing heat sensitive materials, single inorganic salts, and feed liquids that require mild evaporation and concentration.
2. MVR forced circulation evaporator
Features: The material flows at high speed inside the heating tube through a circulation pump, with high flow rate, strong anti scaling and anti crystallization ability.
Application: Especially suitable for materials with high concentration, high viscosity, easy scaling or crystallization. Typical applications include: zero discharge of various industrial mixed salt wastewater, evaporation of high COD wastewater, crystallization of inorganic salt evaporation, concentration of high hardness material solution, and treatment of landfill leachate in complex working conditions.
3. MVR plate evaporator
Features: Adopting plate heat elements, compact structure, high heat transfer efficiency, and small footprint.
Application: Suitable for evaporating materials that do not contain particles, are not prone to scaling, and have low viscosity. It is mainly used for material concentration and pre concentration of salt crystallization.
4. MVR Distillation System
Features: Adopting a falling film reboiler, high heat transfer efficiency, short residence time, and high product purity.
Applications: alcohol recovery and purification, ketone and ester recovery and separation, solvent recovery in pharmaceutical biotechnology, and organic wastewater resource recovery.
